How to track your brand in AI search answers (2026)

To see whether AI search recommends your brand, ask the engines the questions your buyers ask and record what they say, every week. AI Visibility Tracker on Apify does this in one run. Give it your brand, domain, competitors and prompts, and it asks Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Claude. It returns, per answer, whether you're named and cited, your position against competitors, the sentiment, every brand named and the sites cited, plus a client-ready report, for $0.05 per answer.

Open AI Visibility Tracker on Apify $0.05 per answer checked ($0.04 on Gold) + $0.50 per optional report

Step by step

  1. Create a free Apify account. Sign up at apify.com. The free plan includes $5 of monthly credit and needs no credit card.
  2. Open AI Visibility Tracker. Go to apify.com/automationnation/ai-visibility-tracker and click Try for free.
  3. Describe your brand. Enter your brand name, your domain and up to 25 competitors as names or "Name (domain.com)".
  4. Add prompts. Add the questions buyers ask AI assistants ("best X for Y", "X vs Y", "alternatives to X"), or add topics and let the Actor write realistic prompts.
  5. Run and read the report. Click Start, then open the Visibility report in the run's Output: mention and citation rates, share of voice, competitors, the sites AI engines cite most and a prompt-by-prompt grid.
  6. Track it weekly. Schedule the run weekly. Each run is compared with the last and marks gained and lost mentions and citations, so you can see whether your content and PR move the numbers.

Do it from code

})
for item in client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).iterate_items():
